Piqua High School Show Choir “The Company” is in its 32nd year of existence. “The Company” has established itself as an active, entertaining, and award award winning ensemble. The 2011 – 2012 group includes 46 singer/dancers, an 18-member combo, and a 10-member stage crew. In addition to performing frequently in and around the Piqua area, “The Company” has enjoyed success in competition, consistently placing in the top six in numerous contests in Ohio and Indiana. Two seasons ago “The Company” was awarded Grand Champion a record 4 times. These wins came at the Ada Music Feast, Beavercreek, Medina, and Twinsburg competitions. Last year “The Company” was awarded Grand Champion at the Beavercreek competition. In addition the group received caption awards for vocal performance, choreography, combo, crew, costumes, show concept, show design, and set throughout last season. This season “The Company” hopes to be just as successful. This coming season “The Company” will travel to Ada, Beavercreek, Medina, Twinsburg, North Central and Teays Valley. “The Company” looks forward to the upcoming competition season and wishes everyone the best of luck.
